O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
I have seen You in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and Your glory.
Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.
I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your name I will lift up my hands.

'...While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is My body."  Then He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.  This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.  I tell you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in My Father's kingdom." '

Facing Hardships

"..., but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us."
                                              Romans 5:3-5 

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'  Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you.  Away from me, you evildoers!'

Be still before the Lord 
and wait patiently for Him; 
do not fret when men succeed 
in their ways, when they carry 
out their wicked schemes.
Refrain from anger and
turn from wrath;
do not fret - it leads only to evil.
For evil men will be cut off,
but those who hope in the
Lord will inherit the land.
A little while, and the wicked
will be no more; though
you look for them, they
will not be found.
But the meek will inherit the
land and enjoy great peace.
